Individualized physical therapy for runners, CrossFit athletes, and active adults. Get personalized, one-on-one care that keeps you performing at your best.
You’re active, driven, and committed to your performance. But recurring injuries are keeping you from the activities you love.
You’ve tried rest and generic treatments, but the same pain keeps coming back, forcing you to miss training sessions and competitions.
Your physical therapist doesn’t get your sport or training goals, offering cookie-cutter exercises that don’t address your specific needs as an athlete.
Whether it’s running, CrossFit, Jiu-Jitsu, or strength training, being unable to do what you love affects not just your body, but your mental health and identity.
At Golden State Performance Physical Therapy, we specialize in getting active adults back to what they love through personalized, results-driven treatment.
We start with a thorough evaluation using SFMA and functional testing to identify the true source of your pain, not just where it hurts. We assess your movement patterns, strength, mobility, and sport-specific demands.
Based on your assessment, we create a customized plan using manual therapy, corrective exercise, and targeted treatments like IASTM and cupping. Every exercise is designed specifically for your body and your goals.
We progressively build your strength, endurance, and confidence through sport-specific training. With return-to-sport testing and ongoing support, we ensure you’re ready to perform at your best—and stay there.
From chronic pain to acute injuries, we treat the full range of conditions that keep active adults from performing their best.

“I reached out to Golden State PT with some severe pain in my foot. I was limping and couldn’t put any weight on it. Within a short time window, Maya organized an initial call to ask me about my activity levels, how the injury happened and more. We met and she diagnosed me with Achilles tendinitis, after a series of range of movement and strength tests. I was set specific rehabilitation and strength work 2-3 times a week along with in person treatment. There were some very fast results.”

“Maya really helped me manage my migraines and neck pain from tension and overuse! I’m now back to lifting without restrictions and I’m feeling stronger than ever with Maya’s guidance. I’m so happy to no longer be limited by my pain. Highly recommend!”

“Maya was extremely professional in working with me and being a great PT—pushing me! I needed that! My neck/shoulder and all that feels so much better—reborn. My only regret is that I should’ve booked an appointment 6 weeks earlier!!”
